Genealogy On The Internet

In 1998 I wrote Genealogy On The Internet for Heritage Productions (now GenealogyStore.com) and it quickly became a success (thank you Louise!).

Now used as a course guideline for the Electronic Resources: The Internet course offered through the National Institute for Genealogical Studies this book offers advice and guidelines on navigating your way through researching your family tree online.

While it was first written in 1998 it is updated yearly in order to keep it current with any new advances in the online genealogy quest.

To purchase, head over to GenealogyStore.com, choose "Heritage Books" and then "The General Series"

Reviews & Recommendations:

  • Eastman's Genealogy Newsletter, Apr 27-29 1999 issue stated that this book "gives a very good overview of the topic of online resources to aid in your genealogy research" read the review
  • Canadian Living Magazine, January 2001 issue featured an article on "Online Ancestry" and "Genealogy On The Internet" was listed as one of the Books To Read
