Church / Denomination: The log parish church was built in 1893 on land belonging to Kingston Powell. Title to the 2 acre plot was issued in 1897. It was the second Church of England parish North of the river.

The cemetery belongs to the Anglican Diocese of Edmonton, cared for by the Church of the Good Shepherd. The first interment was Elisha Rowswell in 1899. The Cemetery was consecrated by the Bishop of Calgary in 1904. The last burial prior to reactivation in 2010 was Sarah Sweetnman in 1925. Since reactivation as an operating cemetery there have been eight burials.
