The Winnipeg Tribune, 25 June 1938, Page 26: Dug Own Grave. BOUNDARY FALLS, B.C. Clement John Vacher, 84. prospector, literally drove his own coffin nails and dug his own grave. Before his recent death, he built a coffin and dug a grave so that he would inconvenience no one when he died.
No burial records for the mine site can be located, and only one grave marker is visible. The marker is located about 2km east of the mine.
From Greenwood, travel Hwy 3 to McCarron Creek Rd. Travel 4.3km to Gidon Creek Rd, City of Paris is about 3.4km farther, on the right. The grave site is an additional 2km further, on the right.
