Church / Denomination: Almonte United Church
Registered to Auld Kirk Cemetery.
Established 1834. Original plot of 2.5 acres purchased from the Mitchell family, an additional 3 acres from Elizabeth Mansell, and later another plot of land from James Camelon. Plots were first available free of charge to parishioners of St Andrew's Church, but were later available to anyone for $1 per year. Burials from other churchyards were moved here, including burials made at the Free Kirk and the Anglican burial ground beside St Paul's Church in Almonte.
