    This grave is located in a wooded area, across a field, east of Turkey Point Rd. at Walsh Station, across from what is known as Cherwaty's Service Station. According to local lore this young woman had died on the train and when the train stopped at Walsh Station she was buried behind the old train station. Since the railroad was not built there until 1885, this is proved to be merely legend. In fact, the propery where the grave is situated belonged to the girl's father, Ephraim Birdsell. He, Charity and the rest of the family can be found there in the 1851/52 Canada census.
