Geographic*: Caledon Township, Peel County
Municipal: Caledon, Peel Region
Part of the town of Caledon. Formerly in Cardwell County (1867-1900's).

Surveyed in 1819 and by 1821 had 100 settlers; Amalgamated with Albion Township and the villages of Bolton and Caledon East to become the Town of Caledon in 1974; From 1867 to the late 1800's/early 1900's Mono Township was part of the electoral district of Cardwell County.
