Established in 1867 as an electoral and enumeration district. When Ontario was established the province was given more seats in parliament, in order to fill these seats three 'faux' counties (Bothwell, Cardwell & Monck) were created. All three were phased out by the mid-1900's. Consisted of Adjala Township (Simcoe Co), Albion Township (Peel Co), Bolton Township (Peel Co), Caledon Township (Peel Co), Mono Township (Simcoe Co)
