LOCATION:
Historic (Geographic) Location*: Tay Township, Simcoe County

James & Charles Quigley, born Ireland, settled in this area of Tay Twp approx 1835-1840. The families have resided in this area ever since. It is located at the intersection of the town wharf & Hwy 93 Penetanguishene Rd used by the British Military to establish the Penetang Garrison] . Until recently, there was a general store which would haved served the large lumber mills in the same area.
