Hannahsville

See: Nelson

LOCATION:
Historic (Geographic) Location*: Nelson Township, Halton County

Named for early settler Hannah Green Hopkins; Renamed Nelson in 1858

I can advise that its location would be the present day intersection of Guelph Line and Dundas Street. All that remains in the area are two churches and the Nelson Variety. The intersection is in the current City of Burlington, Regional Municipality of Halton.

As this site is designed for genealogists our emphasis is on geographic & former locations.
* Geographic and location will help you locate the area needed for genealogical research.
**Former locations indicate where a place was if geographic boundaries changed.

Municipal location will help you locate the place as it is today (if it still exists), but will be useless if you're trying to find the place as it was located more than ten, twenty, or thirty years ago.
