Established in 1800 from Home District, abolished in 1849; Consisted of the current counties of part of Brant, part of Haldimand, Lincoln, Welland, and part of Wentworth. In 1826, 1838 & 1845 consisted of the current counties of Haldimand, Lincoln and Welland.
