The OntarioGenWeb was created in February 1997 as part of the CanadaGenWeb Project.
OntarioGenWeb specializes in the how and where - how to research Ontario and where to find research resources. This Project is a NOT a research service. OntarioGenWeb volunteers and hosts are here to provide information on the web to help you help yourself trace your family tree.
We understand that most visitors are specifically seeking actual genealogical records for free viewing but in order to accomplish this goal we need time and VOLUNTEERS! If you’d like to see free information available online volunteer to help either in your local area, or for your research area.
